Gender Inclusive Housing at Eastern Connecticut State University offers students the opportunity to choose a living arrangement that best supports their comfort, identity, and personal preferences. This housing option allows students to request roommates regardless of gender identity while fostering an inclusive and respectful residential community. Eastern is committed to creating living environments where all students feel safe, supported, and welcome. Information For All Students

  • Gender Inclusive Housing is open to any student who wishes to live with someone of a different gender identity or sex. It is not limited to members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as Housing does not ask for, track, or maintain information about students’ sexual orientation. Any student may request and fill vacancies in a Gender Inclusive Housing assignment.
