 Deposit Funds to the Eastern EXPRE$$ CARD

The Eastern EXPRESS CARD can function as a pre-paid debit card allowing cardholders to make purchases at a variety of locations on and around Eastern's campus.

Ways to Make an EXPRE$$ CASH Deposit:

1) Eastern EXPRESS CARD Online Card Office

  • Make Deposits to your Eastern EXPRESS CARD with a MasterCard, Visa and Discover Debit and Credit Card through our PCI compliant website.
  • View transactions, check account balances, meal plan usage and deactivate a lost/stolen card.
  • 2.85% convenience fee charge for debit and credit card deposits.
  • Username and password are the same as your Eastern login credentials.

Adding Money to the Eastern EXPRE$$ CARD Online

Requires Sign In:

  1. Click Eastern EXPRESS CARD Online Card Office.
  2. Login to the Eastern EXPRESS CARD Online Card Office portal with your Eastern Username and Password. Example: John Smith username is smithj. DO NOT PUT @my.easternct.edu.
  3. Remember, if you change your password through your university email, that will change your password for the Eastern EXPRESS CARD Online Card.
  4. Put in the Deposit Amount and hit Next.
  5. Enter the MasterCard, Visa and Discover Credit or Debit Card information and select Submit.
    (2.85% convenience fee charge for debit and credit card deposits.)
  6. You are then brought to a confirmation page. Scroll Down and Click Make Deposit or Cancel.
  7. Once confirmed, the funds are available immediately on the Eastern EXPRESS CARD.

Supported minimum browser versions are Safari 5.0, Internet Explorer 8.0, Mozilla Firefox 4, Google Chrome 11.0

 2) Guest Deposit Portal - Eastern EXPRESS CARD Online Card Office

  • A friend or family member can make a deposit through the Guest Portal.
  • All they need is your First Name, Last Name and Eastern ID Number.
  • They will not be able to view your transaction history, see balances or deactivate your card.
  • 2.85% convenience fee charge for debit and credit card deposits.
  • Download the eAccounts app through your Mobile Device App Store.
  • Once payment options have been saved through the Online Card Office you can make EXPRESS CASH deposits right from your phone.
  • View transactions, check account balances, meal plan usage and deactivate a lost/stolen card.

Guest Deposits:

Does NOT Require Sign In:

  1. Click Guest Deposit - Eastern EXPRESS CARD Online Card Office.
  2. Click on Make a Guest Deposit.
  3. Fill in the Student's First and Last Name and Eastern ID Number and click the Contribute button.
  4. Put in the Deposit Amount and hit Next.
  5. Enter MasterCard, Visa or Discover Credit or Debit Card information and select Submit.
  6. You are then brought to a confirmation page. Scroll Down and Click Make Deposit or Cancel.
  7. Once confirmed, the funds are available on the Eastern EXPRESS CARD.

Other ways to deposit money into your Eastern EXPRE$$ CASH Account:

  • Visit us in person at the Card Services Office, 228 Wood Support Services Center, 2nd floor,
    to make check or money order deposits.
  • If you wish to mail in a deposit, please send deposit slip and check or money order to Eastern Connecticut State University, Card Services Office, 83 Windham St., Willimantic, CT 06226
  • Cash deposits can be made using one of the "Cash-to-Card Machines" located in the copy area by the Circulation Desk in the J. Eugene Smith Library and in the copy area by the Information Desk in the Student Center.
