Voice and Opera Studio

The Voice Area at Eastern is a vibrant community of students engaged in lessons, ensembles, opera & musical theatre scenes, and a variety of other solo performance opportunities. As an undergraduate program, all lessons, classes, and ensembles are taught by experienced faculty and solo opportunities and opera roles are filled by our undergraduate students. This commitment to developing the undergraduate singer is just part of what makes the voice program at Eastern so unique!

Voice and the Liberal Arts

At a liberal arts university students engage in course material across a wide range of disciplines. In addition to their music major, many music students choose to add a second major or minor in a related area of study to further diversify their knowledge or pursue a second area of interest. This breadth of exposure to content areas outside the music major enriches the college experience and helps develop well-rounded artists.
