Percussion Ensembles at Eastern perform a broad spectrum of musical styles from original and transcribed works for percussion and marimba ensemble to the music of South America, West Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. In addition to several concerts each semester, the Eastern Percussion Ensemble, Eastern Percussion Group, and World Percussion Ensemble & Steel Band perform at the annual Connecticut Percussion Convention and recruitment concerts at area public schools. Although there is no formal audition, a brief interview with the director is recommended. All musicians are welcome, please join us!
