Health & Safety Guidelines for Eastern Visitors

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

As you prepare to visit Eastern Connecticut State University, please know that we’ve made updates based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies.

We can’t wait to have you visit our campus!

Physical Distancing

Physical Distancing

Temporary adjustments have been made to promote physical distancing. Please follow directional signage and ground markings, which have been installed throughout campus to help visitors and students better navigate common areas while practicing physical distancing. Physical barriers have been added in select places where it is difficult to maintain strict physical distancing guidelines. These may be visible in areas which have more one-on-one interactions to promote increased physical distancing.

Face Coverings Required

Face Coverings Required

Face coverings are required for all visitors, students, and staff members on campus. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times. All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin and fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face. Costume masks are also not considered appropriate and are prohibited from being worn. The use of face coverings is not a substitute for physical distancing.
