At Eastern, our state-of-the-art Fine Arts Instructional Center is evidence that the arts are flourishing! Our music students enjoy the opportunity to rehearse in designated ensemble spaces, perform in a beautiful new concert hall with the ability to be adjusted acoustically to meet the needs of the soloist and large ensemble alike, and priority use of nine individual practice rooms. These resources are an invaluable part of the undergraduate experience and help prepare our students for careers in music beyond Eastern.

Prospective piano students will be excited to hear that the Concert Hall has two beautifully maintained Steinway D pianos and our two rehearsal spaces, the Choral Rehearsal Room and Instrumental Rehearsal Room, are equipped with a Steinway B and new Yamaha grand piano, respectively.
The Fine Arts Center is also equipped with a brand new piano lab, where music majors and non-majors alike have the opportunity to learn the basics of piano in a small group setting.
The Music Program also has an instrument loan program for students who are enrolled in lessons or university ensembles and do not have their own instrument. While inventory is limited, we encourage any interested student to contact Dr. David Belles to inquire about instrument loan.
