Recital Hearing (or Recital Permission)

Length: 12-15 minutes

Expectations: All recital repertoire should be learned and memorized (as applicable) by the
Recital Hearing. Students must bring 3 copies of their full recital program for the faculty panel.

Process: The faculty panel will choose excerpts at random from the full recital program. Any
repertoire listed in the program is eligible for selection.

Outcome: P/F Outcomes will be shared with the student immediately following the hearing. A
student who fails their recital hearing will need to reschedule their recital date for a later time. A
