This spring I interned at Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts, New England’s largest living history museum. This year, the museum is celebrating its 75th anniversary. The project I worked on is a documentary on the history of the museum for this anniversary privately produced by Robison Imagery. Myself and my supervisor, the documentarian, went through museum archives and digitized hundreds of files and began to conduct interviews. I learned a lot about documentary filmmaking and museum operations. Everyone I met was great and it was a tiring but fun experience. I was asked to stay on for the remainder of the project and am looking forward to it.
