Business Administration Minor

The minor in Business Administration is open to all university students and is designed to provide individuals with both a theoretical and practical understanding of operating a business. Students will acquire proficiency in basic skills including technology usage, economics, mathematics, communications and international perspectives. Through this unique business program, Eastern students students will develop both a theoretical and pragmatic understanding of how businesses operate as successful competitive organizations

Students who wish to minor in Business Administration must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 2 required courses, 2 area specific courses and 3 advanced elective courses listed below.

  • (One Required)

    • ACC 201 Principles of Accounting I
  • (Choose two from two different areas of Business)

    • BUS/FIN 245 Business Finance      
    • BUS 201 Principals of Management     
    • BUS 225 Principals of Marketing          
    • BUS 260 Operations Management     
  • (Choose Three)

    • Any 300 level or above business courses selected according to the student's particular interest. Students may take all their business elective credits in one functional area for a career focus.
