Transfer Students in the College of Business

Eastern Connecticut State University’s College of Business welcomes all prospective transfer students from state community colleges and other universities. Please use the following resources to plan your entire four-year graduation plan, check community college courses which are equivalent to Eastern courses and reach out to the appropriate people at Eastern who can assist you in the transferring process.

Transfer Student Information

  • Any student who has already completed a bachelor’s degree at another institution and is pursuing a second bachelor’s degree at Eastern is likely exempt from all Liberal Arts Core course requirements at Eastern. Students should speak with the Office of Admissions and the program coordinator of their desired major for more information.

  • The Accounting, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Economics and Finance majors have long prerequisite chains. Therefore, it is to a transfer student’s advantage to take fundamental courses in the areas of writing, mathematics, social sciences, information systems, and basic business prerequisites before transferring to facilitate graduating on time from Eastern.
