Political Science Minor - 15 Credits

Designed for students interested in careers in government, public administration, law, public service, and business. Seven of the 15 credits may also be used for the General Education Requirements, the Liberal Arts Curriculum or a major or second minor when appropriate.

Required Courses (6 Credits)

  • PSC 100 Power, Politics, Processes
  • Choose one:
    • PSC 208 International Politics
      or
    • PSC 217 War, Diplomacy, and International Relations

Minor Electives (9 Credits - Choose 3)

Choose any three 200-400 level electives in Political Science. Students can use either PSC 208 or 217 as an elective if both are taken.

* Transfer students must complete at least six Political Science credits in courses applied to the minor at Eastern in a program approved by the student’s Political Science advisor. The cumulative grade point average in courses applied toward the Political Science minor must be 2.0 or better.
