Economic Equity Academy
October 7 - November 11
The Economic Equity Academy is a free six-week empowerment program for women, girls, and historically underrepresented groups, designed to build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and connections needed to succeed in education, careers, entrepreneurship, and life. Through interactive workshops led by Eastern faculty and local professionals, participants will explore financial literacy, investing, wellness, professional communication, leadership, and personal goal setting while building meaningful connections with mentors and peers.

Academy for Small Business
October 13 - November 12
The academy includes a series of 10 lectures by an assortment of Eastern faculty members and local industry professionals, designed to assist both local entrepreneurs and Eastern students in developing their small businesses through networking opportunities, financial resources, professional guidance, and more. Upon completion, participating business owners can apply for a $5,000 line of credit through Liberty Bank.

Fall 2026
Develop a clear and organized plan to guide your business goals and long-term vision. This course will support entrepreneurs in structuring their ideas into a professional and purposeful business plan.
A.I. Marketing for Small Businesses
Spring 2027
This one-day workshop will introduce small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to simple, practical ways to use AI for marketing. Participants will learn how AI can help create social media content, develop marketing ideas, reach customers, and save time while promoting their business.
