Nursing Major Degree Requirement
Our Nursing program is a traditional four-year bachelor’s degree that combines a strong liberal arts education with hands-on training in nursing. It’s designed to help students become not just excellent nurses, but also future leaders in the healthcare field.
Throughout the four academic years, students will build a solid foundation in both science and patient care, preparing them for a wide range of opportunities in the nursing profession. The program places a strong focus on real-world healthcare needs, including issues like equity, access, diversity, and health disparities—skills that are essential in today’s nursing workforce.
Graduates are prepared to serve their communities in Eastern Connecticut and beyond, with the knowledge, compassion, and leadership skills needed to make a difference in patients’ lives.
