Accommodations for Online Courses

The process for requesting accommodations in online courses is same as for on-campus courses; OAS-registered students need to submit a Service Request Form to the OAS in order to request accommodations. Letters of Accommodations will be emailed to instructors of online courses.

Please note that accommodations for online courses might include:

  • Extended time on tests/quizzes (on BlackBoard: Adaptive Release)
  • Alternate format of textbooks and course materials (i.e., audio, increased font size, color contrast)
  • Captioning
  • Recording lectures
