Becoming a Woman: Documentary and Panel Discussion

Did you know that 59% of Eastern students are women? and that 53% of staff members and 47% of faculty are?

If you'd like to hear them, please come to the screening of "Voices of Women at Eastern," produced by Dr. Brian Day and featuring students, alumnae, staff members, and Drs. Okon Hwang, Christina Irizarry,  Kristen Morgan, Afarin Rahmanifar, and Dean Emily Todd, among others.

The screening will be followed by a panel with Drs. Bergstrom-Lynch, Pakdil, Severance, and Wilmot, and (former) students Emily Jones and Shaheera Kahn, who will address what it means to be a woman in their various fields.

As part of the "Becoming a Woman" series of events, please come and celebrate with us the women at Eastern. 

Event is free. 

Light refreshments,  supported by the Office of Equity and Diversity and the department of World Languages and Cultures, will be served after the event.
