Student Center

Eastern's Student Center is a unifying force that brings together the University community, provides a forum for divergent viewpoints, and creates an environment where all feel welcome. It is a campus community center, serving students, faculty, administration, staff, alumni, and guests. The Student Center represents a building, an organization, and a program: It provides services, facilities, and educational cultural, and recreational programs that enhance the quality of college life. Hours of Operation: 

Monday - Wednesday and Friday:  8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Thursday: 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. 

Sunday: 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Fitness Center closes everyday at 9:30 p.m. with the exception of Thursday which closes at 10:30 p.m.

Holidays:

Labor Day- 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Thanksgiving Recess- Closed Thursday through Saturday, Open Sunday 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Winter Recess- Friday, December 12 closes at 6 p.m., Closed Saturdays & Sundays, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    All current students and employees with an active Eastern ID can use the facilities. The Fitness Center does not accommodate any organized classes or athletic team workouts. Fitness Center hours will be subject to change during break periods including intersession, summer session and other times when classes are not in session.   • The hours of operation are on the Chartwells website under the “dining locations.”

  • If you are in a Student Organization, click here to reserve a room through EMS. If you are not a part of a student organization, please contact Candace DeAngelis at deangelisc@easternct.edu. 

    Note: If you are an outside agency/vendor and would like to request space in the Student Center, click here to go to Events Office website.

  • The Barnes and Noble operated bookstore is on the main level of the Student Center. Their hours of operation and other information can be found on their website.
