Eastern students enjoy a broad range of on-campus experiences designed to promote academic, social, and personal development. Student Activities staff work with other offices in the Division of Student Affairs, as well as faculty and housing staff, to provide an integrated student life program.
Members of Eastern Connecticut State University’s incoming Class of 2029 caught their first glimpse of college life during six different sessions of SOAR, an immersive two-day orientation experience facilitated by student orientation counselors (SOCs) and organized by the Office of Student Activities.
Eastern’s chapter of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society hosted a discussion on housing issues on May 7 in the Gelsi-Young Hall Connecticut Room. In collaboration with the Department of Political Science, Philosophy, and Geography, the event brought together honor society members, students, faculty members, Eastern administrators, and officials from the state level.
The Campus Activity Board (CAB) at Eastern Connecticut State University concluded a year of events with its annual Spring Fest celebration. The week-long festival commemorated students' hard work this academic year with a variety of fun and whimsical activities from April 28 to May 4.
