Eastern students enjoy a broad range of on-campus experiences designed to promote academic, social, and personal development. Student Activities staff work with other offices in the Division of Student Affairs, as well as faculty and housing staff, to provide an integrated student life program.
Eastern Connecticut State University’s WECS Radio Club has been home to a myriad of dynamic radio shows and their equally engaging hosts since 2009. The club’s focus is to provide a community for people to grow with anything related to radio, podcasting, music, and audio technology through a variety of events.
Eastern’s cheerleading club traveled to Daytona Beach, FL, to compete in the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) and National Dance Association (NDA) College Nationals tournament on April 10 and 11. The team competed in the D3 Intermediate Co-Ed division.
Faculty, students, community partners, and advocates gathered at the Student Center on April 9 to be part of Eastern's annual “Take Back the Night” event. Organized by the Women’s Center and SAIV-RT (Sexual Assault and Interpersonal Violence Response Team), the event was dedicated to raising awareness of sexual and interpersonal violence and standing in solidarity with survivors.
