Welcome to Eastern! We are happy you have chosen to begin or continue your academic career at Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University.
It is important that you take care of a few details before you begin the spring semester, 2024. A new student guide is available online to help you complete all the necessary steps to becoming an Eastern student. If you have not done so, please visit Admissions for admitted students to be sure all the appropriate details are in order for your start in January, 2024!
All new spring 2024 students, first year and transfer, must complete the mandatory Orientation Online. Orientation Online will introduce you to the services and resources Eastern offers so that you can become a successful part of our campus community. Orientation Online will include videos, resources and checklists and you will have the opportunity to return to these modules at any point during the spring semester as an additional resource. New students can access the site starting December 1 and will have until January 12 to complete the modules. To access the site, please visit https://orientationonline.easternct.edu/ and log in using your Eastern credentials.
New first year students must also attend Spring SOAR on January 10, 2024 (snow date January 11). SOAR will allow you the opportunity to meet other new students, student leaders, faculty and staff, acclimate you to campus and finalize your spring class schedule. Register now by clicking here! Spring SOAR is optional for transfer students, but highly encouraged.
All new students are charged an orientation fee and it is reflected in your itemized tuition bill.
