The National Student Exchange, a not-for-profit education consortium, provides affordable and practical opportunities for students enrolled at member campuses to study and live in a new location. NSE students have found their exchanges culturally enriching, academically rewarding, and one of the most significant experiences of their undergraduate education. National Student Exchange opens doors for Eastern students

Students study afar through college exchange program

Just as some Eastern students choose to study abroad, others come from far away for a semester at Eastern. Through the National Student Exchange (NSE) program, two students from Guam and Canada joined the Eastern community this fall while several students from Eastern studied at institutions far away.

Global Field Courses for 2024

Students can travel the world via 5 global field courses in 2024

Students will be able to travel the world with their Eastern peers during five global field courses in the coming spring/summer 2024 semesters. Departments offering courses include education, music, environmental earth science, psychology and English, and students will visit Jamaica, Austria, Maine/New Hampshire, Iceland and Italy.

Creative Writing Abroad course

English students immerse in Italian culture

Seventeen Eastern students traveled to Florence, Italy, for a six-week creative writing course this past summer. During their time there, students could travel around the country, seeing beautiful views and learning the history of some of the most artistically rich cities in the world.
