Environmental Science and Sustainability Concentration

The Environmental Science and Sustainability track is designed for student who are interested in careers and graduate study in environmental and ecological science, environmental policy, and environmental remediation and conservation science. The track provides a strong foundation in environmental earth science with additional courses in mathematics, chemistry and physics, impact of energy consumption on humans and the natural environment. Other required and elective courses allow individual EES majors to pursue environmental science subjects that connect with their academic and career interests.

Recommended Minors

A minor is not required. In addition to the EES minors, the following are appropriate for EES majors: biology, chemistry, computer engineering sciences, computer sciences, mathematics, physical science, physics and political science. Other minors are possible and should be discussed with your academic advisor.
