  • Media Services produces parking/directional signs for academic events on Eastern’s campus. These signs are produced on a coroplast backing with adhesive vinyl lettering. On campus installation of directional signs is provided by Facility Services via work order request on their website. Please note, Media Services cannot produce advertisement, event promotion or informational yard/lawn signage. The campus’ digital signage service can be used for this purpose. Please visit Media Services, Services, Campus Digital Signage page for more information.The Coroplast Boards are white, 12″ tall x 20″ in length. The text is black. Facility Services provides the stands that hold the signs in the ground.

  • Each podium is equipped with a VGA/Audio cable for connecting external equipment to the system. Most podiums also now have an HDMI (male) cable. Users with portable devices such as Mac computers, iPads and mobile devices must provide their own adaptor.

  • Due to copyright laws, Media Services cannot convert entire, commercial DVD videos (such as movies, documentaries…) to files for uploading to BlackBoard unless the requestor has written permission from the distributor of the title. Short clips can be converted as long as it represents no more that 10% of the complete title. Faculty can contact the Center for Instructional Technology for assistance with that.
