Global Field Courses - Poland

Communication students with Professor Cesar Beltran frequently travel to Poland and Hungary in a global field course titled “The Nazi Aftermath in Central Europe: History, Media and the Holocaust.” Students meet with scholars from area universities and U.S. Embassy officials as they analyze how the Holocaust shaped communication throughout Europe. The trip’s visits to the cultural center of Budapest and the infamous concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau impact students in unforgettable ways.
