CTLA Lending Library

The CTLA maintains a lending library of over 150 books on pedagogy, the science of learning, and faculty development. Below is the list of current titles

  • There are two ways to borrow a book:

    1. Stop by the CTLA in room 425 of the Library, where you can pick up a book and have it immediately.
    2. Complete the borrowing form to request to have a book sent via interoffice mail. You will need the CTLA book # from the list below.
  • Did you find one of these books especially helpful in your teaching? Please consider writing a brief (2 to 3 sentences) recommendation for your colleagues - we may feature your recommendation in an upcoming newsletter!

Is there an important book on pedagogy you think should be in the CTLA Lending Library? Let us know

  • The CTLA happily accepts donations of books on pedagogy. In general, books published within the last ten years are preferred.

Donors are recognized with a specialized book plate inside each donated book. To donate one or more books, please contact Julia DeLapp.

Special thanks to Mary Deane Sorcinelli, Barbara Liu, and Tina DeLapp for their generous donations.
