Any potential substitution or waiver of Major/Minor requirements must be approved by the Chairperson of the Department, Assistant Chairperson, or Designated Coordinator of that Major/Minor. They are encouraged to submit the Substitution/Waiver approval via your Degree Evaluation as a petition.
Any substitution requests for LAC Tier I and II requirement must be submitted as an Academic Appeal via eWeb. (Student Services Tab > Student Records > Academic Appeals).
Substitution approvals for University Writing Requirements and Tier III Independent Inquiry require approval from additional parties.
