Pre-Major Information

Students interested in pursuing a degree in a major that requires admission by the department for the major will be classified as Pre-(major name) and will be assigned to an advisor by the Director of the Academic Success Center – Advising. Students will be reclassified as actual majors and reassigned an advisor, if applicable, once they have fulfilled the department’s admission requirements.
