Scheduling Manual - Summer and Winter

Courses for the summer and the winter are coordinated with the Office of the Registrar and the Office of Continuing Studies & Enhanced Learning. Typically, the Associate Registrar - Scheduling Officer will e-mail the schedulers a memo in late March/early April for winter courses and in late October/early November for summer courses. Included with the memo are the various options for faculty to offer courses. A template from the previous like semester will be attached to the e-mail along with suggestions from the Office of Continuing Studies & Enhanced Learning.

The timeline to put together the schedule for the summer and the winter is condensed due to the smaller number of courses that are offered during these time periods with the exact deadline to be outlined in the memo sent. Schedules are normally asked to be returned approximately one month after the initial request. Any special room requests must be sent during this time. The Associate Registrar - Scheduling Officer will assign rooms after the deadline.
