Motion to accept the revised minutes of the previous meeting (W. Salka, W. Newell ‐ Passed)

State Budget Update

• Eastern received a directive from Governor Rell to park fleet vehicles two days a week.
• The SEBAC agreement has been approved by the legislature.

Furlough Schedule

• AVP Sweeney handed out a schedule of the furlough days by bargaining unit
• Those who participated in the Governor’s Voluntary Leave Program will receive a paid
  vacation day for their May furlough day

Presentation of Fiscal Year 2010 Spending Plan

• A draft plan was presented to the System Office.
• AVP Sweeney shared a copy of the FY 2010 Spending Plan draft and a list of key
  assumptions.
• The plan will be adjusted and tweaked as we receive more information regarding the
  economy and the state budget.
• The plan will be presented to the CSU Board of Trustees in June.

Next meeting will be Wednesday, June 10 at 9:00 in the Connecticut Room, Gelsi‐Young Hall
