Effects of Overexposure / Conditions to Avoid: Butoxyethanol is absorbed through the skin which may affect the liver, kidney, blood and lymph systems. Inhalation may affect the central nervous system and cause respiratory irritation.
Conditions Aggravated by Use: Unknown
Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses.
Skin: In case of skin contact, remove contaminated clothing and immediately wash skin with plenty of water.
Ingestion: If swallowed, call a physician or Poison Control Center. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger. Do not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove person to fresh air and call a physician. Note to Physician: Chlorpyrifos is a cholinesterase inhibitor. Treat symptomatically. Atropine only by injection is an antidote.
