Fall, 2021 Program Update

In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, Eastern has instituted many changes to how students, faculty and staff will live and work on campus. Masks will be required for all Center for Community Engagement programs. All volunteers are required by community partners to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Feel the power of volunteering in a large group! The Center for Community Engagement facilitates many special events per semester with community partners and the campus community. Special Events registration takes place one month prior to the scheduled event.

Special Events are one-time events that generally assist a local community partner with an event or program. Special Events include:

  • Blood Drives
  • Third Thursday Street Fest
  • Mobile Food Pantries
  • Downtown Country Fair
  • Halloween events
  • Day of Caring and Town Pride, Town Wide community events
  • Relay for Life
  • Windham Public Schools Family Nights

and many more!

Go to E Web to register for all CCE programs and events. For longer events be sure to choose the work shift that is best for you.

For more information about Special Events, contact Lexie Mastroianni, Special Events Coordinator mastroiannil@easternct.edu, 860-465-5158.
