Why go to Graduate School?

Many students attend graduate school to earn a degree that will allow them to work in a field requiring specialized training, for example: the medical field, business, or higher education.  Other students choose graduate school out of a desire to acquire more knowledge in a specific area of interest and to better prepare for entry into the workforce.

No matter your reason for considering graduate school, it is important to do your research and make sure it's the right choice for you, and the right time.
