The Office of Gallery & Museum Operations curates and presents the work of emerging and established artists in Eastern’s modern Art Gallery. The office also collects and preserves art work and related materials of relevance for the University’s permanent collection and exhibition programming.
The permanent collection and works on loan are used for exhibitions, educational programs, and related activities for the benefit and enrichment of Eastern and its students, faculty, staff and the larger community.
Guiding principles:Eastern Connecticut State University’s permanent art collection serves primarily as a teaching and research tool for students and faculty. The collection focuses on contemporary art produced by artists with a connection to New England.
