DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, ALL CLASSES WILL BE LIVE STREAMED THROUGH WEBEX

Not the competitive type but want to stay in shape? Eastern offers recreational programming ranging from Zumba to yoga, from conditioning programs to interval training.

Thank you to those who have participated in our fitness classes and webinars. This is our final week of virtual recreation. Attached you will find the April calendar and the UPDATED WebEx login information for the remainder of the semester. Please note that tomorrow’s presentation has been cancelled. This week our two virtual offerings are Zumba and Boot Camp. I hope you can join us!

As a reminder, we are offering alternative exercise options through Microsoft Teams. To access these offerings download the Microsoft Teams app on your computer or phone and search under the “teams” section for “Athletics – Intramurals & Recreation.” On this page you will find pre-recorded yoga classes, additional stretching/mobility videos, and post Bootcamp recorded  sessions. Check out the new materials that were posted today – healthy eating tips, posture pause presentation, and a new yoga and boot camp class!

  • bootcamp class

    Want to fulfill your New Year's resolutions?
    Come join us for a Boot Camp series and get a total body workout that focuses on muscle and core endurance as well as specific athletic applications.

    No prior experience is required. All fitness levels are welcomed and encouraged. Bring a water bottle and sweat towel to class.

    Join certified yoga instructor Kelly Madenjian for a mindful moving vinyasa yoga flow with classical moves to practice balance, flexibility and strength.

    All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged!
    Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle and wear workout clothes.

    It's Zumba Time!
    Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval and resistance training — alternating fast and slow rhythms.

    All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged! Bring a water bottle and sweat towel to class.

    Join Dr. Brenton, a purple belt in Brazilian jujitsu, for combo class of self-defense, personal safety, strength and endurance conditioning.
