Diplomas

At the Commencement Ceremony, the University celebrates conferral of degrees on those students who have received their Initial Degree Audit, which approves them to participate in the ceremony. A diploma will be issued, after a Final Audit is completed by the Registrar's Office, and it is determined a student has completed all degree requirements (*students with holds or outstanding financial obligations will not receive their diplomas until they have been resolved*).

Diplomas will be available on the following dates: 

May Graduates: Available on July 15
August Graduates: Available on November 15
December Graduates: Available on March 15

NOTE: If the date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the diplomas will be available the following Monday.

For December 2023 Graduates, you will receive an email to your Eastern Email once you are officially awarded your degree. Once you receive this email, there will be a link to request to have your diploma mailed when they are available.

*PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT REQUESTS USING THE PROCESS BELOW!*

If you are requesting a diploma and you were awarded for August 2023 or prior, you can either:

  1. Submit a request to diploma@easternct.edu from your Eastern email to have it mailed.
  2. If you cannot send the request from your Eastern account, please submit the Authorization to Mail Diploma form to the diploma@easternct.edu e-mail address. You may also mail or fax (860-465-4382) it to the Registrar's Office (Form requires Handwritten Signature).

***If you need to order a REPLACEMENT diploma, please submit the Request to Order Replacement Diploma form. Please refer to the notice on the form regarding the fee for replacement.
