About Me

I am a cultural anthropologist with teaching and research interests in Cultural, Economic, and Urban Anthropology; Caribbean transnational migration; globalization; sustainable development; and environmental discourses and policies. I have conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Puerto Rico, the United States, and Cuba. Currently, I am the Coordinator of the Anthropology Program.
