Eastern Connecticut State University’s Art Gallery is now proudly featured in a guide on Bloomberg Connects, an app designed to connect users with more than 750 museums and other cultural sites. The Art Gallery’s profile went live this April.

Powered by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the app is free to download and “features exclusive app-only stories and insights from our partner artists, curators and experts,” according to the company website.

The Art Gallery’s guide features an interactive collection of photographs and descriptions of exhibitions past and present, as well as information about the gallery and its history. Users can also sign up for the Art Gallery’s newsletter through the app and view relevant news items.

“By joining a network of more than 750 arts organizations worldwide, we aim to increase our visibility, attract new visitors, and foster a deeper appreciation for the arts within our community,” said Art Gallery Director Julia Wintner.

“Ultimately, this partnership will help us stay at the forefront of digital innovation in the art world, ensuring that the Art Gallery at Eastern remains a vibrant and inclusive cultural hub.”
