Leadership Communication Minor (15 Credits)

Great leaders are great communicators.
Individuals and organizations thrive under effective leadership and they wither when communication is toxic or dysfunctional. The minor in Leadership Communication prepares students to take on leadership roles in business, nonprofits, politics, sports, education, the arts, and media.

Ethical and effective interpersonal communication is central to many careers. Employers who responded to the recent National Association of Colleges and Employers Survey cited written and verbal communication skills as two of the top five skills they look for when hiring new graduates. Competency in leadership, problem solving, conflict resolution, and team building are just some of the skills fundamental to the L-COM minor.
