Reader Card

Your name will be announced as you walk across the stage at Commencement by way of your Reader Card. This card has your Diploma Name*, degree, school, and graduation honors (if applicable). This card is useful to help you locate your seat at Commencement. Reader cards will be ready to pick up the day of commencement. All graduates MUST pick up their reader card before lining up for the Commencement procession.

If you have a name that may be difficult to pronounce let us know when you pick up your reader card. A red dot will be placed on the card to signal the person saying your name to have you whisper your name to the reader just before you cross the stage.

A space with tables and pencils will be provided in your designated line-up area to fill out the back of your reader card for the commencement photographer.

*Your diploma name is what was entered on your graduation application and used to address your initial degree audit letter.
