Welcome! We are so excited that you have chosen to be an Eastern Warrior! This page will walk you through all the steps you should take in order to get registered for your first semester at Eastern.

  • Commit to being a Warrior! Deposits must be submitted to reserve courses and residence hall space. The University reserves the right to return deposits received after enrollment capacity has been reached. Click here for step-by-step instructions for paying your deposit.

Students living on campus: $450 non-refundable tuition and housing deposit.

Students living off campus: $200 non-refundable tuition deposit.

  • At Eastern, all students must complete a College level math course and a College writing course within their first year. In order to determine your placement in either course, you can:

    • Submit your SAT or ACT scores to Eastern. Even if you did not send your scores with your application, these scores may be used for placement purposes. Scores should be requested directly from the testing site (ex:CollegeBoard), and submitted to the Admissions Office.
Submitting standardized tests scores after acceptance will not impact your admissions decision.
    • Take a math and/or writing placement exam. If you are required to take a math and/or writing placement, you will be notified via your Eastern email account. Don't forget to check your email regularly!
  • Your Spring Class Schedule

The Advising Center will begin building Spring 2024 schedules for all new incoming first-time students on December 1. Schedules will be built for students who have paid a tuition deposit. You will receive an email to your Eastern email account alerting you that your schedule is ready. This email will also include instructions for how to view your schedule in your eWeb account.

    Finalize your Spring Schedule

Have questions about your schedule? Need to make changes? No problem! You will have the chance to meet with an advisor during SOAR to review and finalize your spring schedule.

  • SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising and Registration) is an orientation program designed to introduce all new first-year students to life on campus. SOAR will allow you the opportunity to meet other new students, student leaders, faculty and staff, acclimate you to campus and finalize your spring class schedule. Spring SOAR for new first-year students will take place on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. You must submit your non-refundable tuition deposit prior to attending SOAR.

New first-year students must also complete our Orientation Online program. Online Orientation will introduce you to the services and resources Eastern offers so that you can become a successful part of our campus community. Orientation Online will include videos, resources and checklists and you will have the opportunity to return to these modules at any point during the spring semester as an additional resource.
