The Rogers Endowed Teaching Scholarship

The Rogers Endowed Teaching Scholarship was launched in 2000 by Emerita Professor Mary Rogers Beckert, a long-time member of the Physical Sciences faculty. She passed away in 2010. Scholarship awarded to a junior in any undergraduate major preparing to teach in elementary or middle school (grades 1 through 9), and with a course concentration in the sciences. The recipient will have completed a reasonable of coursework (preferable 6 courses) in the sciences with the intention of completing 8 courses.

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
