The Paul Burton Scholarship was established in 1999 by Paul’s family and friends and was endowed in January 2000. This scholarship honors the memory of Paul Burton, a 1999 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University who majored in computer science. It is awarded annually to an Eastern student who has a long-standing disability, with preference given to those with muscular dystrophy or diabetes and/or is majoring in computer science.
