The Bradley Family Scholarship+

This endowment honors Gevon and Barbara Bradley, lifelong Bridgeport residents known for their love of family, strength, and the foundations they built their life on —education, family unity, and love for one another. Their children, Mark Bradley ’90, Shanda Hinton ‘96, were instilled with values of hard work, humility, and compassion. Gevon and Barbara’s grandson, Maurice Johnson, Jr. ’17, and nephew Kolin Ebron ‘12, PhD, are also graduates of Eastern. Recipients of the Bradley Family Endowed Scholarship must reside in Bridgeport, CT and have a minimum 3.0 GPA (high school GPA). During their junior and/or senior year, the recipient of the Bradley Scholarship will be asked by the Opportunity Program staff to mentor at least one undergraduate student from Bridgeport who is living on campus. This endowment carries forward the Bradleys’ spirit by empowering future generations to succeed, inspire, and lead with purpose.

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
