The Retired Education Professors Scholarship (REPS) was started in 2011 with gifts made in honor of the late Dr. Richard Reynolds (1992–2011) at the time of his retirement from Eastern’s Education Department. Subsequent gifts were made in honor of the late Dr. Charlie Prewitt (1952–1979) after he retired as an adjunct professor in 2018 and Dr. Hari Koirala (1995–2022) at the time of his retirement from Eastern. Dr. David Stolo􀆯 added to the fund starting in 2025 (1995). This scholarship is awarded to Eastern undergraduate students who are majoring in Education and have unmet financial need.
