Michael F. Gable Biology Student Assistantships Endowed Fund*

Established by Biology Professor Michael Gable upon his 2008 retirement from Eastern, the Michael F. Gable Biology Student Assistantships Endowed Fund is for full-time biology and biochemistry majors who have completed 30 credits, and who have served biology teaching assistantships and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Recipients are chosen by the Department of Biology. A minimum of $500  in total stipends will be awarded each year. In 2022, a traditional Foundation scholarship(s) was added for bio/biochem majors who have participated in a research project with an Eastern faculty member.

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
