Luva Mead Hoar ’42, a member of the ECSU Foundation Board, established the Luva Mead Hoar Endowed Scholarship in 1986 while a member of the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut State University System. The scholarship is awarded to a student in good academic standing who had demonstrated commitment to the community, as well as to the University.
