This endowed scholarship was established in 2025 by Lillian Messier Gaines ’73 to carry forward her spirit by empowering future generations to succeed, inspire, and lead with purpose. Lillian was a first-generation college graduate whose career reflects a lifelong dedication to teaching, innovation and service. This scholarship is awarded to a First-Generation College Student with unmet financial need who maintains a 3.0 GPA.

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
