This fund was established in 2025 in memory of Jane R. Gold ’64 who joined the Peace Corps as she sought to explore new places, meet people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and test her abilities to help others. This fund is intended to provide financial assistance to sophomores or juniors who engage in study abroad programs through the Office of Co-Curricular Academic Programs at Eastern.

Students must apply, and the applications will be reviewed and selected by a committee consisting of faculty and staff. After the trip students will provide written and oral reports at campus events.

The deadline for applications for spring semester funds is October 15th and the deadline for fall/summer semester funds is March 1.
