The Dr. Jacqueline Abbott Endowed Scholarship was established by Dr. Abbott and her friends and colleagues upon her retirement to honor the more than 30 years of service that she had provided to Eastern’s community. This scholarship is awarded to nontraditional students in good academic standing and with academic promise who would benefit from special financial assistance and who wish to pursue a career in the field of education. Nontraditional is defined by “a student commencing or resuming education five years or more from their last matriculation”.

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
