“Brother’s Emergency Fund” is supported by donations in honor and memory of Eastern Rugby players Derek Schmuecker ‘12 and Sam “Johnny Cash” Shekman, who both died in 2014. It is designed to assist fellow rugby players with financial need. This fund will assist students at a level not to exceed $3,000 per academic year per recipient. This is considered an emergency fund and therefore awards will be expedited to assist players with need. All requests will be triaged and funneled through the coaching designee.
