In 2002 Sheridan Vernon created the Daniel Pearl Memorial Scholarship in honor of the late Daniel Pearl. This endowed scholarship is made annually, at a minimum of $250, to a student in good academic and community standing, majoring in Communication or Political Science, with an interest in international affairs.
