Celeste Prussia ’83 created the Alf E. Dyrland Memorial Scholarship in memory of her late husband. Its aim is to preserve the quality of the environment and continue Mr. Dyrland’s goals and desires through present-day students. It is awarded, at a minimum of $150/ semester, to a biology major with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has unmet financial need and is actively involved in a non-paid internship/practicum(for a minimum of 6 credits) or research project (for six credits over the course of 2 semesters) directly related to the environment.
